Gretel is the silliest being I’ve ever met. If her face didn’t share the story of her unfair past, you would never know she ever experienced such trauma. Since being in foster care, she’s learned how to live indoors and that the toilet is only outside! She’s learned that her crate is a safe haven and a great place to unwind. She’s learned that sitting is a polite way to ask for something she wants. She’s learned that routines make her feel more calm. And she’s learned to stay within the boundaries of the yard, regardless of what distractions are out there. Gretel has always known how to bring fun to the party, how to win over furry friends. And how to seize the moment! Does she have a lot of energy? Yes. Does she know how to take a break? Yes. To summarize. Gretel is joy. Gretel brings joy. And Gretel learns best from joyful teachings!
Michelle Y was her foster parent.
